This compact adapter is designed for vehicles that already provide factory wired CarPlay. It keeps the original screen and controls while adding a wireless phone connection.

Typical Connection Process

1. Connect the adapter to the vehicle USB port used for wired CarPlay.

4. After successful pairing, the adapter can reconnect automatically when supported.

Compatibility Requirements

The vehicle must have a working factory wired-CarPlay interface. Compatibility depends on vehicle model, model year, market, head-unit software, USB-port type and phone operating-system version. Confirm the exact infotainment configuration before ordering.

Not a Universal CarPlay Upgrade

This adapter does not add CarPlay to a vehicle that lacks a working supported factory wired-CarPlay interface, and it does not replace the original infotainment display.
